Frequently asked questions - Alka® Bath
How does the Alka® bath works?
Alka® Bath is a unique composed alkaline bath salt that helps the body to carry out acid waste.
By adding the alkaline bath formula to your bath water, the water gets an alkaline level of approximately 8.5 pH. Acid waste in your body is removed by osmotic pressure from the inside out through the skin. The acidic deposits on the skin are neutralized by the alkaline bath water.
By neutralizing the old acidified epidermis with the Alka® Bath, the regulation of your sebaceous glands will provide a new and optimal build-up of the subcutaneous fat layer. Alka® Bath also contains a good amount of essential minerals and trace elements that are absorbed through the skin.
Your skin can breathe again and will be extremely soft!
How can I boost the drainage of acids?
You can boost the drainage of acids by daily drinking a few cups of Alka® Tea. Herbs have the ability to bind with the acids, thus stimulating the acid drainage. In addition, taking an alkaline (foot) bath is also very beneficial for the removal of loose acids from the body.
Why alkaline baths, the skin should be acidic?
For the last 20 years, it was assumed that the acid skin layer offered protection against pathogens such as bacteria and moulds. In recent years, the pathogens have grown in very large numbers after all kinds of acid shower gels have been released on the market. The skin’s acidity level results from the fact that the skin is our largest excretion of acidic waste from the body. The more acid waste in our body, the more acidic the skin becomes. Moulds can only live in an acidic environment with a pH between 3.5-5.
